We seek
out schools in need -- those whose kids' reading performances
are being affected by their family's economic challenges.
Our
School Programs
The elementary school program consists of three visits during
the school year where each time each child is provided a brand
new reading book to start their own personal library at home.
The hope being -- a small gift of a reading book begins the
journey of a life-long passion for reading, which in turn
leads to better life opportunities.
Multiple
visits create enthusiasm and engagement for the school, the
children, and the Alyssa Cares Foundation.
